"Papa - Hemingway in Cuba"
Hollywood comes to Santa Barbara.
Long time friend and Academy award winner Bob Yari ( Yari Film Group ) recently completed production with their new project Papa, the story of a boy inspired by Ernest Hemingway to become a writer. The principal shooting took place in and around the Hemingway Estate in Cuba. The opening flash-back scenes involved the entire Studio 2050 Team here is Santa Barbara. We served as Unit Production Managers, Scouts, Permits, Art Department, Wardrobe, Props, Styling, Construction, Practical Lighting, Extras, Food and Equipment. It was a fantastic experience. After filming we got involved with some of the special effects. And yes, that is Glen's little sister and nephew in the opening scene!
